folding@home problems
good day eh
i've been running folding@home for awhile, and it hasn't caused any major problems. until today. i turned off the background application for a game of unreal tournament. then i got a phone call, quit unreal, and let the computer sit for about 15 or 20 minutes. when i came back the computer was frozen up until i hit ctrl-alt-del, which showed about 6 dozen copies of folding running. anybody else had this happen? should i just turn off the screen saver application? thanks for any help mark |

I had this sort of problem with Seti when I used to run the screensaver option (Until I realised what I waste of time Seti was)
I'd come home to find about 20 taskbar icons in the tray, whoops ![]() I would at least try turning off the screensaver option I just use blank screen after 10 mins, monitor off after 20 HTH, Thanks,
