Besides Seti and RC5, there are numerous other programs running. There is Medical research being conducted with Distributed Computing efforts...
Yes, I believe Seti@home to be a useful, however mankind has a great chance to benifit in the near future by helping with medical research, like helping to find cures for cancer, aids, and other medical problems that people have. I am going to continue running the seti program, my current goal is to reach 1000 work units, after that point I am going to maintain one computer running seti and investigate some of the Medical Distributed Computing programs. In the mean time I will list some of these other programs, in case your are more interested in help out in other areas. I have a list at home on my other computer, so just bare with me.. byte.
