I Had a work unit finish in 13 minutes. I had just started running th unit and I noticed some really wild patterns....about then the work unit jumped to 100 percent...I had enough time to take a screen shot.

I have read on the seti site about units the jump to the finish line, they say it is caused by interfearance in the signal. Some of the known causes are from some of our own satilites, but I wonder how this program can tell...

My opinion is that the units that jump to the end like that will be studied in more detail by Berkeley. I have to say this is the only time I know of getting one of this funny units.

Bailey I just read about your 23 minute work unit too....

I count us as being lucky, I believe we have run some units that will be examed one the next level...he he....

Maybe we found something......Would that be great.

It must be that we're into a span of dead air... I was just in to report my 19 min 54 sec data set. I guess we're all getting the similar sets.

Bummer! I had a couple of quickies too. I think that if too much "noise" is detected, it just quits the unit. Maybe 3.0 is refined in that detection method. I know that generally my comps are going thru units a little faster with V3.But a couple were a little too fast. Of course, I dont have an 800MHz Tbird tho. LOL
