The software says I have 1 finished WU, but I don't see my name or wu on folding@home user stats. Does it take a while for the web page to be updated, or there could there be a problem actually connecting to the server to upload my stats?

How long ago did you finish it?

It does take a while, I'm not totally sure how long, but I think Stanford's site is updated every hour and extreme overclocking every 3 hours.

Its been several hours, I'm on my second wu 6/125. I can wait on the update, I was mainly wondering if folding@home actually got the update from my system and nothing was blocking the transmission.

i have had problems before when i was on dialup where the client would not upload the WU but downloaded another. i don't know if i just wasn't online long enough (uploads are slower than downloads) or what the deal was.

stanfords stats are almost real time updates while EOC updates every 3 hours.

Okay guys, this thread has grown to a rediculous size, so I'm going to close it. It takes a long time to load this thread, it's kind of rough on the database, and the sheer size of the thread makes it hard to locate information when performing a search.

I'm encouraging you guys to start individual threads for problems and questions from now on. I'm also going to be starting a "welcome thread" for new members.

Happy Folding!
