Congrats Trainop! I've had to sacrifice some of my processing power lately for the good of my company. I've got an Intel 2.8c in the process of being built, so I should have 2 more up and folding, soon.

Congrats Trainop!
I've recently started a second machine folding.. And hope to add a 3rd ina month or two.. I was searching the net on Monster Farms and found this: Sure glad he's FOLDING instead of searching for little green men! (grin) =========== Once completed, this system will comprise: 1: Shuttle SS51G server w/2.53 GHz P4, 512MB DDR333 PC2700 RAM, 100GB HDD, second add-in 10/100 Ethernet port 1: 24-port 10/100-baseT Ethernet switch 24: ECS K7S5A motherboards, w/custom BIOS, including EtherBoot network booting capability 24: Athlon 2100+ XP CPUs 24: PC2100 DDR266 RAM, 18 w/128MB, 6 w/256MB 24: Extremely quiet Robanton 350W PSUs 24: CPU Coolers, mostly the very quiet Artic Cooling Super Silent Pro TC 24: Dirt-cheap nVidia Vanta 8MB AGP Video Cards from EBay, average price ~$5.00 3: Tripp-Lite 15A 16-outlet power strips, w/circuit breakers As with the current farm, the server will run RedHat Linux, V8.0, while the diskless clients will netboot the Linux Terminal Server Project Linux distribution from the Shuttle server. It's going to take quite a while before everything's ready, but MF'sMMFF will eventually give our folding team a nice boost! ========== Whew! Mike |
