Lol Im in the process of getting 6 new comps folding. One of which is a hp 2.4 celly though there might be some issues with linux and hyperthreading

Celerons don't have hyper threading and while I'm not 100% on this but I think that linux does support hyper threading cpu's.

Well Its a P4 2.4 and it said HT on it. You know where I can get the instructions to set up HT on a linux system?

I don't have a clue but you might try http://forum.folding-community.org they have a forum just for linux.
