p638_L939_K12m_ext
I just noticed 2 computers both running the same work Unit.
My guess is I won't get credit twice will I? Also interesting. PC1 is running the units at 5 minutes 12 seconds PC 2 is running 7 minutes and 17 seconds. PC1 is my AMD xp3200 PC2 is my AMD xp1700

ok, my PC1 finished that WU, then worked a small 24 point unit, It just got this one back again.
Is that normal to get the same one several times? |

On the Team Member page at Stanford's site HERE , you can click on a member and then click to see a detailed list of completed WUs by project number. I've completed 30 or 40 of some, and only a few of many others.

I have the above project working on two different comps right now. According to EMIII:
P4 2.4C = 8:48 per frame Celery 2.4 = 7:13 per frame How 'bout that? |

I have 6 instances of it running right now with the times ranging from-
6:36 mins a frame on a 2.4B 8:00 mins on my 2.8C's using HT with 2 instances so that's not too bad 10:58 on a 1.4 T-bird Looking back through the logs my 1700+@ 1.7 had done one at 5:47 a frame but then these tinkers favor the AMD's I have been hammered with them and my daily points have suffered because of them the past 2 days. Strange though my Prescott has not had a single one ![]() 600 ppd the last 2 days, I'll be lucky to get 400 tomorrow that hurts when I should be getting 1000 ppd Last edited by lil Jimmie; 06-16-2004 at 12:29 AM. |

The AMDs really do seem to mow through the tinkers. Doing frames at 5:47 with that speed chip is pretty awesome.
I just got one on my PIII 500... How's 32:46 per frame grab ya? ![]() Anyone else have speeds to compare for this particular protein? |

That reminds me of when I had my old 533 celery folding, I'd boot it up and never look at the progress cause if I did I would only want to pull the plug on it.

About 32:46 x 400 frames = about 219 hours of non-stop folding... She'll make it, but the old gray mare she ain't what she used to be.

Just got the p638_L939_K12M_ext and according to EMIII, the frames are coming out at 5:30.
I am running a P4 2.6C OC'ed to about 3.3Ghz. Mike Last edited by mikezel; 06-17-2004 at 11:05 PM. |

Its the text client, running as a service. Mike |

ARGH!!! I knew I would jinx myself when I said my Prescott has not had one of these but I got one now and with it running 2 instances it's going at 7:36 a frame at stock speed (because of the summer heat) I'm gonna shut the other instance down and see how it does without disabling HT.

I've got my old 600 mhz Pentium running 24/7 folding the p638_L939_K12M_ext and it's been running since last Thursday 9:00 pm Central. As of about an hour ago, it was 86% complete. In the same time, my 2.4 P 4 has done 9, one instance at a time (screensaver version). Hopefully, the old thing doesn't burn up. This is the most the old one's been run in ages. Is there any way that I can set it up for smaller proteins? Thanks!!
Date of last work unit 2004-06-22 03:14:03 Total score 741 Overall rank (if points are combined) 102888 of 345300 Active processors (within 50 days) 1 Active processors (within 7 days) 1 By the way, how do you get the neat little box I've seen on some of the other posts? |

You can change the preferences to use only the gah instead of fah work units and that should do the trick on getting smaller work units on the older box. As for the sig go here and fill in the info and copy and paste the html link in you sig properties. |

According to the title box it does say genome@home. That's why I was curious. The only thing I can think of is that it downloaded the fah core before I could change it over to genome@home core.
