I'm running an older system, specs below, and have a question regarding performance and memory. As it is, I run 2GB of PC3200 Kingtonston HyperX memory at 2-3-2-6 1T. At times my computer seems a little sluggish after playing games and it seems more memory will help. I've checked task manager to verify that a vast majority of ram is being used. Here is my question, If i add 2GB more of the same memory, My mobo will automatically down clock the ram to DDR333Mhz and computer won't boot without setting command rate to 2T. For moderate gaming and sufing net, etc benefit from more slower ram or less faster ram? I just bought a new toner for my old LaserJet 1012; I didn't buy the HP one but a Verbatim. Guess the price for saving money and maximising yield is to have this light grey coating on the pages after they're printed (now, this printer used to do the same with the HP consumable but only if I put the same page through more than twice; now it's doing it right off the bat). And sometimes there is an ugly, ~1-in-wide smudge on top of the page as well.

Any clues as to how to fix this? Is there something in the printer I can clean or something to have clean prints? Taking the printer to a shop is not an option.

I have this Asus P4P800-VM MOBO, and I lost me connection to the Internet, so I did all the normal things, when none of those worked, I tried to install the Ethernet drivers from the Asus disk. It would start installing the Ethernet drivers and all of a sudden go to a LAN connection, and to my understanding this is dial up connection. So I went into add and remove and deleted the Pro LAN, and went back and tried again, and it did the same thing. So I thought why not go into the Bios, and disable the LAN connection, so I did and now I am stuck with no Internet connection, no matter what I try it will not connect.

I am finding it needs this for the modem connection HSP56, but when I try to install this it goes to a blue screen of death.

The hard drive came partitioned into 2 drives, a 149 GB and a 137 GB partition. My issue is that I'm concerned that some of my software won't work with 7 as it would with Vista, so my plan is to copy over my C drive in place of my D drive, keep Vista on that one, and upgrade my C drive with the Windows 7. Space isn't an issue since the drives internally are bare, I work out of a 500 GB external hard drive, makes gaming easier between my Notebook and my Desktop back home.

I'm not sure how or if I can copy over drives like that. I will post the readings with the multimeter, which also found very weird: One reading was between 18-19V, another was between 6-7V and the last one was between 2.0-2.4V. I didn't bother to check any settings until I had installed the drivers. I downloaded the latest ATI driver for this card from the web site. Now when the boot loading completes, only one monitor shows a display. Device Manager only shows one display and Display Properties only shows one Desktop. I've checked the bios for any settings and changed the video priority from pci to pci-ex - that made no difference.
