Ninja Gaiden + Xbox = ownage
Not a big console game fan, and use my Xbox mainly as just a media player, but I must admit this game is worth every penny.
Note that if you are easily frustrated you will curse it, out loud, many times. It's FREAKIN HARD (enough to type it in all caps ).But that's part of the cool factor I think. Every subtle movement has to be learned to get past the harder missions. If you just button spam you'll be slaughtered. (and yes the original 3 Ninja Gaiden games are on the DVD and can be unlocked/played on the Xbox version) Discuss! |

The trick to defeat the boss is by jumping to the wall, jump above & attack from above. Do it until you win

Xayd, you are a stronger man than I. I can't stand games that are so incredibly hard, it seems that the creators are just toying with you

If only it were that easy
. Alot of the boss fights are in big open areas without walls nearby, and they will react if you jump at them with a grab/throw move. There've been plenty of games to come out that tried to be really hard just for the sake of longevity, but this game is different. Difficult? Yes, but on the other hand if you do what it hints at you to do, and learn to use the moves that you possess, it starts to ease up. Kinda rewards skillful play, I guess, which is nice. It's not hard just to be hard, it's hard until you're good at it, which is a nice change from most hack n' slash console games .

It's 3d with a third person perspective like alot of games have been recently. I would say that it's fighting scenes are kinda like the Bushido Blade playstation games, only with alot more content and an actual plot to the game
.

The game is awesome. It has great graphics for a console and it is one of the smoothest games I've played. Each weapon in the games has their weak points and strong points. If I had the money I'd buy it, till then I'll just rent it. So far I'm stuck a the dino boss part, it is really frustrating when you have 4 giant beast running at you trying to eat you.
mystvearn, that only works on the first boss. |

Have fun with those 3 dinosaurs cause there's another boss fight instantly after that one, so you can't get any more healing potions
.You gotta beat the dinosaurs without losing any life, basically. |
