Aggg. I'd have a few mods by now except all the links are to fileplanet and unless I pay to subscribe I have to wait about 80 mins on a public server before I can even begin to download.

Currently in line for what look to be some good mods. One is a Halo mod another is a Star Wars mod. I'm also getting a pirate mod because I like sea battle and the rest are ones that increase the historical accuracy of the game. I just can't wait to play these.

BTW I got Dessert Combat earlier today, that mod is really fun. I love the minigun on the Blackhawks.

I'm a Battlefield fanatic (Member of TAW clan)

Good mods are:

Desert Combat (DC)

Forgotten Hope -- this thing takes up resources for some reasons and some people have problems, but if it works for you, then it'll blow you away. They've remastered the sound and have redesigned every original map (putting more bunkers and weapons and vehicles and everything) and have made numerous Forgotten Hope exclusive maps.

Star Wars -- Its showing potential and is progressively getting better with each new patch.

Pirates -- I love this mod. You can be a sharpshooter with a musket...you cant beat their accuracy. You also get to drive pirate ships. If this isnt exciting to you, then u need your head checked lol.

There are many more, but these came to mind. I'll ask my clan what they play (There's 50 of us, I ought to get enough answers) then I'll post the results. Good luck and enjoy.

Well, I got DC from www.desertcombat.com

I got Forgotten Hope off of gamespot's free deluxe downloading client.

I think I got the rest the same way -- gamespots deluxe downloadig client.

When you get it all workin and runnin, swing by www.tawclan.com and we'll hook you up with some real gaming. I'll fly you around in my nifty black hawk.

Well I downloaded DC, Star Wars, Forgotten Hope, and Pirates, but the only one I can get to work is DC. Is there anything special I need to do or map packs or patches that I need to get?
