96k 3D FPS

i don't know if this has been posted here (search found nothing)
but i found this game- .krieger and its pretty cool
its only 96k and its a 3D FPS
the developers created this by writing code that generates all the sounds, textures, models etc.
this greatly reduces the size of the game but it makes it cpu and gpu intensive
this is the beta version and it has a good amount of bugs in it
check them out at www.theprodukkt.com

Wow I tried it, not too bad. That's a pretty good game for only being 96 kb in size. Looks like it takes pretty good requirements though.

How do remap controls? Oh, I don't think you can.

Amazing how a 96kb game can put the hurt on a system that can handle games of 10+ gigs. Just goes to show ya that it is all in how you make use of the tools you are given. Great link jeoL.

This was mentioned in this months issue of PCGamer. The team won an award at Breakpoint 2004, a competition for compression programming. I am amazed at how much they packed into such a tiny file. Very nice lighting effects.
