Go to the site http://www.atari.com/rollercoastertycoon/us/index.php and just look around, im stunned between the new graphics and coaster cam.

Go to the screenshots page, man, i cant wait.

It does look nice. It's about time they upgraded the graphics engine. I was addicted to that game as well but I haven't played for a while.

Everyone I knew played Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 when it first came out. That game was addicting and fun. The third one brings features that many fans have wanted and have seen in other games. It's about time, we'll see how it turns out. So when's it gonna be released?

I do like some of the Tycoon games, but there seems to be way too many of them.

I see what you mean bigandy, there are a lot of them out there, and most are just garbage, but rct was one of the first, and really a good game.

Most of the others are made by no-name companies and they are crap. RCT was the first good one and it is a good game.

Gamedaily:
Though it won’t be out in time for the fourth of July, Atari Inc.’s Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 will allow users to put on fireworks displays, which in turn can be choreographed to music of the player’s choice.
Fireworks MixMaster will work in unison with MP3 files on a player’s computer. Songs can also be “attached” to rides using “speaker objects,” to match “audio and visual themes and give the park a more immersive feel.”
In development by Frontier Developments, Ltd. and Chris Sawyer, the title is due out in November for the PC and will also feature full 3D graphics and a Coaster Cam that will allow users to take a virtual spin on their creations.

Hmmm... I just noticed that it's being made by Atari instead of Infrogrames. I hope they don't do to the RCT name what they did to the Driver series.
