Looking for a good pc and or PS2 game
I dont have time to play video games except on the week ends, and when I do I want to enjoy the experiance like I used to when I was a kid. Recently for my PS2 I've purchased FFX and Tony Hawks Underground. Tony Hawk I like and will play over and over again but FFX after I beat it there was no point in playing it to me. The last Pc games I ever bought was The Sims, Diablo 2, and C&C Red Alert 2. I could play those games all day no stop repeatedly even after I beat it. Latly however, Ive found it hard to find a game like that. For my PS2 the only game I play over and over again no matter how many times I beat it is the Armored Core series. I like games that take a long time to beat, have a story line that sucks you in, and that I feel wasnt a waste of my money, like I felt after beating FFX. Please through some suggestions my way.

I played Half-Life and loved it. I was thinking about getting it on PS2 though.

You could try Rise to Nations or something like that, I played a trial a long time ago and it was pretty fun.
For FPS's you can try Unreal Tournament 2004, America's Army, Counter Strike Condition Zero. Those are the ones I liked. |

If you wish to be sucked in, grab Starcraft or Warcraft III and play online. Beware, as it can be very addictive...

I can recommend Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology, and even the orignal Age of Empires. All fun and very addictive games. Then there's Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, and of course Halo although I think the Xbox version of Halo is much better. Roller Coaster Tycoon is another very addictive game. I have been trying to beat Splinter Cell on the Xbox for months. It is an excellent, addictive, and challening game. Gamespot rated it better on Xbox and PC than on the PS2.

For PC, basically any form of strategy game (ie. C&C, Rise of Nations, Civilization etc.) should hold your attention for a long while. Another style of game is Counterstrike or Far Cry, where there's always new stuff to try (don't get Halo on PC, I hated it and didn't even finish it... too much retracing your steps).
If you like racing games, they can also hold your attention for a long time. The last one I recommend is games like Tony Hawk, where there's always a bigger and better trick to do, or another goal to achieve |

i recomend going with Half Life for PC (not ps2, i personally didnt like it on ps2) since you said yourself that you liked playing it. also if you do go with half life. it is only $20 usd, and if you like multiplayer online games you can get counter strike for free. its a half life mod that is really popular and fun.
check it out http://www.counter-strike.net also i would check out this web site to get a taste of how big the community is: http://www.csnation.net hope that helps |

Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind for PC. You can get the game of the year edition with all the expansion packs pretty cheap. This game is awesome and seems to never end.
For PS2 get Spiderman 2 because the movie rocked and the game is even better.

Yes Spiderman 2 for PS2/Xbox is a blast. I highly recommend it. Its open ended like grand theft auto and has Tony Hawk qualities also, very fun game.
