Unreal 2 scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2002 promises to dazzle and amaze you. Check out the gallery at the above link. That lady being in the game should be enough to get a bunch of fanfare!

There's also a pretty good preview to drool over at Gamespot

Yep it was featured in the latest issue of PC Gamer, and I got to see some screenshots. And yes, it does indeed look like a winner.

Indeed it does. UT was the first shooter IMHO to have really fluid and lifelike movement in it, which opened up a whole range of strategies in the games that had never been throught of before.

From the demo they did of the next generation D3D unreal engine they're putting even more emphasis on stuff like this for Unreal2.

Id software has been beaten at their own game, it seems .
