Question Morrowind questions

1) How do I take a screenshot?

2) Which family would be better to join and why?

TIA

To take a screenshot would be the same as any other time I would assume. Hit the Print Screen key, and then open up paint, paste it, and then save it as a jpeg or whatever filetype you want.

Can't help you on the second question as I haven't played it.

I had tried with all the Function keys but not with Print Screen. Gonna try that.

Thx for the reply, Andy.

I have tried playing this game again, i was hoping it would run fast with Radeon 9800 but no matter how you adjust settings it just runs slow and the game itself is too slow and tedious.

ANyway, you should join the guild that matches your class. Fighter guild for fighters, thieves for thieves, etc.

The families that are referred to as Houses will require that you do quests for each of them, doesn't matter in what order because the gameplot requires that you unite them.

Oh, so I can join all of them. Interesting, I was in the belief that you had to pick up one and once you joined it you wouldn't be able to join the others. Kinda like being made a made man for one family in Fallout 2.

I am not sure, so you better save games before doing some decisive decisions

You can join one family but often times missions for one family will be to murder members of another family which will get you dispelled from that family. So at the end you can really only be in one, at the beginning you can join all if you want. Really all joining a house is good for is to get your house, and depending on which family you stick with determines the location they will build your house and what it will look like.

Excellent game, one of my alltime favorites. Hail the Nevarine!

You should do so immediately Andy! Get the Game of the Year Edition which packs Morrowind and the two add-ons Tribunal and Bloodmoon. You can get it real cheap. Here it's only $39.99 CAD.

Ooo, so I can have a house. How nice. I am between Redoran or Hlaalu. I don't really like Telvani. The reason I also worry is that I support the Empire (I am even in the Legion) so I don't want to do things that go against the Empire.

I am also a wood elf archer who steals everything in site lol. Stealing is so much fun. I have beat the game and tribunal, become the nevarine and all that, and I just picked up the Bloodmoon expansion. Now how to become a werewolf is the question.....The game never ends, even after you become the nevarine and everyone recognizes you as a hero, its pretty kool, one of the first games ive played that lets you play and reap the benefits of beating the game and become a hero.

I decided to play Morrowind again and this time finish the game.

Last time I played I was a human empirial fighter. It was alright but he couldn't run fast.

So this time I created Lizardman Barbarian. He runs fast but I am not sure he is strong enough for fighting?

Anybody konw whats the best character to be able to use best weapons and finish game quicker?

Hmm I dont know, I think one would be just as good as another. Race doesnt really make that much of a difference. Its all about leveling your stats. The more you run around the quiker your guy will become, the more you fight the stronger your guy becomes and his attack skills will increase. The more you steal the better at stealing you become

But the monsters will respawn though. Do they respawn? Like birds in the sky, those pteradactyls? they seem to be coming in hundreds.

You may end up killing a NPC crucial to the game's main quest and then be forced to restart.

Yea true, If you kill some of the NPC's vital to your quest you wont be able to continue with the games story line or some of its quests. After you do kill an important NPC though it gives you a warning and lets you know so you can load from a save but you dont have to.

Yes Ive been using it. I used it to change the stats on my weps and armor to make them more powerful, also added alot of constant effect stats to them lol. After beating it of course though. I also use it to drop a chest near my character full of arrows and other things.
