KOTOR & Constant CTD's

About every 30 minutes when I'm playing Starwars KOTOR the game always crashes to desktop. This causes me to do things over and over again, sometimes its something difficult I had just completed and when I load into another zone the game will crash and won't save. This only happens when I'm loading into somewhere. I know I could just try to reinstall but I don't want to have to go through everything I've been through already. I've gotten patch 1.03 also. Does anyone have any ideas?

I had a similar problem. Fixed it by running Virus and Spyware scan.

Sounds like possibly a video card driver issue. Have you tried d/l new drivers?

Otherwise I would go into C: drive > program files > the kotor folder and copy and paste the saved game folder to the desktop. Then uninstall and reinstall the game. Then cut and paste the saved game folder back into the program folder. That should work, I do it with games all the time, transferring my saved games to other computers.

Reinstalled and played for about an hour or so then while I was loading the screen went white and it froze up. I've got updated drivers and the lastest patch also.
