Final Fantasy XI
Help!!! trying to play on line... have downloaded but game freezes almost immediately on starting play.. running AMD 2500Barton CPU..Asus A7V8xn Deluxe bord, ATI 9600 Pro video card .. keeps saying VPU settings are wrong or something about resetting.. have downloaded latest drivers for video card and tried multiple settings and variations..anyone else had this problem and any suggestions on resolving this???

Get Linux.
Just kidding, try changing the vertical sync and all the options.

Try going into the video card config options and turning off the vpu recovery.
Try turning Fast writes off also and maybe lower the AA and AF and see if that makes a difference. Or get Linux lol.
