Flight Sim suggestions

I don't consider myself a flight sim junkie, but I have recently had the urge to play a great flight sim...preferably a Star Wars title. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be thankful.

P.S.-I don't have a joystick, so suggestions there would be nice as well.

Well, you can try Star Trek Bridge Commander. Its not Star Wars, but I guess there simular. . I heard X-Wing Alliance is grea but I haven't played it myself. Why not play Microsoft Combat Simulator (I think thats the title), and pretend your an x-wing fighter.

The IL-2 Sturmovik series is very good, even though it's not a Star Wars-themed sim. Come to think of it, I don't know of any SW flight sims that have even been released in the past few years.

Well, I love X-wing Allanace and Tie Fighter, but the graphics are not quite up to standard with today's stuff. Both were made for a windows 95, if that tells you anything. I dont like Star Wars Starfighter as much, its newer, with better graphics, but there was something about it i didnt like.

The best flight sims I played are the space flight sims because they do not have to be based on real planes so you can have just the right combination of difficulty.

Best one I've played is an oldie called Tachyon: The Fringe.
Your character is given voice by Bruce Campbell and its structured like an RPG.

Freelancer is more recent and is good too.
