I don't play games but do use photoshop, painter 3d, Ray Dream, and a few other graphics programs. My question is will a new g-force or radeon 32 meg card be that much better
than my 8 meg ati rage agp? |

Nope, not at all. Gaming cards are for 3D speed overall, not image quality. What you need is 2D image quality, and if your ATI card does that well enough for you then you're good to go.

It will give you a performance boost in 3D studio MAX, but not in Photoshop and stuff.
