FAR CRY came damaged from Newegg, I'm out of luck?
I ordered FarCry from Newegg and disc 5 came with a scratch in it will not load. I called UBI they said to return where bought, Newegg doesn't return
software. I am so mad!! I want to choke somebody. The damage isn't Neweggs fault or the shipper, all boxes are in perfect shape. This is UBI's fault, poor quality control! What are my options? Anyone have disc 5 they want to lend me? Will that work?

No you can't return it for money but you can return it to exchange for another copy.
So exchange it at Newegg for a copy without a scratched cd, just tell them what UBI said. |

When I try to get a return authorization number at newegg site it won't give one for game, says no return/exchange on this item.
Both Newegg and UBI's customer support are closed until Monday so I can't get a hold of a real person to talk to ,,, I don't want money I just want to play the damn game. I guess I am posting to see if anyone else has been in this position and what the outcome was? I've dealt with Newegg a lot and always thought of them as a great company, but I've never had to return anything. Last edited by rmr; 08-07-2004 at 04:20 PM. |

This item may only be returned for a replacement. You'll have to wait till Monday to get a person on the phone. When you do tell them about the glitch. Be gracious to them when they apologize. |

Thanks for the help, I didn't see that, I was at the RMA page where you try and get a return authorization number. Yes I will be nice as can be, I always try that first. THen,,,
