how do you run it? I mean you download it and then what? How do I apply it to the actual game?

did you read the readme file? It tells you where to put the pack005 (or something like that) file, all you need to do. Works great. But like they say it doesnt replace the flashlight. It only lets you see what your shooting at, if you use it to lightup a dark place you wont see anything. Look to the screenshot and see how far I needed to be just to lightup all the text but when theres a monster right in front of you in the dark youll be happy to have it!

Why would you stop playing just because it requires some strategy?? All you have to do is press F to go back to your previous weapon and F to take out your flashligh. It takes a second.

I don’t mind games that need Strategy but the thing is I like to see what I’m killing. I don’t see any point of having killer graphics if you can’t see what you are killing. Let’s blast away then after nothing is attacking me I use the flash light to see the dead bodies. I for one like to see the head blowing off a zombie or a spider or be it what ever. Adjusting the Gamma really doesn’t help without it looking like crap.

So this is the game play. Spot something to kill with the flash light. Switch to gun (turning off light) Blast. Switch to flashlight to check if it is dead. Just utterly crap. I can’t stress enough that its just plain crap.

I agree entirely. I'm very disappointed (and rather surprised to be so).

I love the game, but, agreed, having to switch is a bit much. After all, you Can hold a flashlight and shoot a pistol or rifle / shotgun weapon, etc. In a world with plasma guns, you'd think they'd be smart enough to put a clip on some weapons to hold the flashlight anyway

That did bother me too TwoRails, the lack of a flashlight rail or some other way to have both your weapon drawn and flashlight out at the same time.

Thanks for this find Force, it's gonna be a huge help.
