star wars
in Star Wars KOTOR, how do I get a light saber?
I just started to play this game and is cool, I am at the sewer level at the very begining Please help!!

Well I have beaten the Xbox version and I dont think that the PC version isnt any different, but I will help you the as much as i can. In the beginning of the game when your ship crashes you get stuck on a city, later on you will find many friends that will help you, You will get your light saber after you escape from that city and go to a new one where the jedi council is. From there you will meet the jedi council and you will train to become a jedi, from there you will have to answer difficult questions and choose how want your abilities to be. After the training then you will be equipped with a light sabor and have jedi skills.

Correct; in the PC version you travel to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine after you beat the Taris level, where you construct your lightsaber.

cool! thank you guys! I guess I'll have to try to beat this level first then.
Also there is this huge gigantic monster in the sewers, do I have to kill him? If yes how do I go about doing that? My blaster don't seem to work on him? |

First, I recommend you using a sword for now on. Also I do believe you have to defeat that monster.

Enter Solo mode(so your party members don't follow you and get killed when the grenade wears off), use a CryoBan Freeze Grenade on the rancor, then run past him into the doorway. Kill the two guards, then turn around and lob frag grenades at the rancor until he's dead.

Thats not what I had to do. I put a some type of grenade in the pile of bones that was in that room and some type of poison then the rancor came by to check it out and it was killed.

well you could do that 2. I went to the solo mode, use 2 stun grenades on him an pass to kill the sith soldiers in the gate. there after used about 4 granades that was it.
Now I have that engine part. but I don't know where to go or how to get out of the planet. |

Go back to the leader of the Hidden Beks(Gordon Thek?). Then, you have to race and win the big swoop race. It pretty much goes from there.
