Problems with Call of Duty
Everytime I try to go into single player in Call of Duty I get an error message saying "Cannot locate the CD-Rom" "Please eject and re-insert the CD-Rom, select OK and restart application". I have a Mat****a DVD-Ram UJ-811 combo drive in my Satellite P25. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is this a legal copy of CoD? (i.e. the actual original disk, not a burned one)

newer games...made 2000 and later, have copyright protection put on the disc at the factory, making it more difficult for them to be ripped or copied. if its a burned copy, youre SOL....sorry.

ya, my friend made me a copy so i could try it out on my new system. he used alcohol 120% on a 2 sheep burner to create the image and then burn it. I'm gonna try and install it on my other system and see what happens. thanks for the replies guys.

Sorry, we don't support illegal software here.
Just to save you some time, you won't be able to just install it and run with the CD as you would a legal game. Thats all I can say. mike |
