DOOM 3 Problem...DVD/CD emulator???

I'm having a problem after I install DOOM 3.

I just bought DOOM 3. I installed it and all that. When I pop in the CD to play it gives me an error. "DVD/CD emulator software detected. Please uninstall emulation software and reinsert DOOM 3 CD" or something like that.

I had to get a no CD CRACK to play it . I don't have any DVD or CD emulation software . I have a DVD player.

Anyone else heard of this bug.

I've heard of known problems with alcohol 120% and other games. I'm not sure about doom 3, though.

I had to disable Alcohol 120% to play Prince of Persia:Sand of Time. The emulated disk thing made it not work... took forever to figure out what was wrong with it, since I had A:120% on both the computers I tried and both game me some error, not concerning CD emulation software though so Google was me friend

No idea what it would be if you dont have any of that type of software though

Well I don't have Alcohol 120% or anything.

I do have Nero, CDRWIN5, and clone CD.....do these have emulators?

EDIT: OH CRAP wait, I have 123 Studios DVD X Copy....would that be considered an emulator?

try disabling it and see. In Alcohol 120% it creates virtual drives, and I just set it to zero and it worked fine. Not sure which program might be doing it.
