Well I for one would rather have the hotfixes. i'm sure there will be a patch out to correct the problem.

How can you patch a game that you can't install? Unless you are referring to a patch/hotfix for SP2.

well the correct word might not be patch but Im sure there will be a fix or do you think they will just tell people not to install it if they want to play the game.
