Looking for the game

My friend came over yesterday and we played Everything or Nothing in co-op, and I realised that that was the game I want to get next, but not Everything or Nothing. See, I want a game that's based on a team, co-op style, maybe a first person shooter. Like SOCOM Navy Seals, Freedom Fighters, and (the way the preview looked) Battlefield 2; all merged into one. Other than Battlefield 2, what game am I looking at? I know there's got to be a game that suits this 'genre' perfectly, but we all know how some of the best games often get swept under the carpet and unnoticed. Or maybe it's just me and my monthly magazine. What do you think guys?

Also, I don't want to be limited to campaigns if I want to do single-player. I don't want to be forced to go online to explore the game fully, you know? Like FarCry, my internet connection is good for nothing so I'm forced to play campaigns. That gets real boring real quick when you've already finished the game twice.

If you have an X-Box Full Spectrum Warrior may work well for you. It's the civilian version of an Army trainer.

hmmmm.... maybe Rainbow Six 3? or its "expansion" Black Arrow

it is a first person shooter, in a way realistic...(you have 4 ticks of health, a head shot is usuall a full kill, other body part hits take away other amounts of health).
you control a team of operatives called rainbow theres 4 people total... you're the leader. also you can do co op in Black Arrow...
also, in both of them, you have xbox live- multiplayer (if you want it on xbox), otherwise there is a pc version i believe, it also may be on PS2..

its one of my alltime favs on xbox live, im addicted....

Jason
PM me if you have any other questions

EDIT; btw, i didnt like full spectrum warrior at all, no offence tpgun. you just control the team, but you dont shoot, personally i didnt like it but then again i never really got into it

Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention. Preferably PC, but I do have a PS2, but I'm only allowed to play on it 3-4 months a year. School. So let's try and stick to PC.
