Warcraft III crashes when loading.....

Ok, right now i have a Dell 4600 with a p4 1.6ghz, 512 mb ram, windows xp home, gforce 2 mx, and some more useless stuff. Here my problem; i have played warcraft 3 many times on this same setup, and then i took it off here. I went to reload it and i had trouble installing so i borrowed another cd from my friend. It installed fine, but...now when i try to play it, it will go through the intro, and then when i click the mouse to get it to load the menu screen it just gives me a chime and goes back to the desktop. No warning notice or anything. Ive re-installed 3 times and no luck. Blizzard takes a week to get back to me with info thats already on their website, no help there. What gives? Thanks for the help, sorry for the ramble.
