you could try the compatibilty option. rightclick the shortcut of HardTruck and go to the compatibilty tab. there you can select either windows95 or 98 or ME. Try them all. If the game still doesn't work you have to install windows 98 on your PC

Well hard truck 2 is a kind of old game that can only be ran on win 95/98/me

and when ever i run it (windows xp) it runs perfectly its just that i cant get hte game cursor to work and all you see is the game menu and a green cursor (game cusor) and the windows cusor and my flickering desktop, all i can do is ctrl alt delete it and shut it down...Hope that explains much

btw...

Nivida Geforce4 Ti 4600
512MB of RAM
Windows xp Pentium 4

mmmmm....that's weird...but maybe changing display resolution would help...try setting it very low like 640x480, this is very good for old games..

ask me!

I had the problem with the taskbar with Max Payne. The clock appeared all the time while I was playing.

I'm sorry I cant help you. If you have a PC with 95 or 98 at home..try it.
