3rd persons shooters - Recommendations
Hi there, I'm new to PC gaming and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good PC action/adventure games in 3rd person view. Thanks.

Max Payne 1 & 2.
Thief Deadly Shadows can be played in 3rd person. It's more stealth than shooting but the atmosphere is awesome. There's a demo for it you could try.

it's mainly saber fighting, but in my opinion this game adds a whole new dimension to the whole category of "first person" fighting games. it's like street fighter meets quake 3 or something... no more guns, swords instead!

Do you intend to play online, or just at home by yourself?? This has a bearing on the games I'd suggest, as I liked CS MP but didn't enjoy Half-life overly much

Morrowind is not a 3rd person shooter, it's an RPG.
Max Payne 1 and 2. If you see a copy of Heretic 2 get it. Yes, it IS auld, but it's still a very good game.

Nope. With all due respect an RPG and a shooter are NOT the same thing.
In an RPG you develop a character through attributes and gain experience from quests and other things you perform, and such increases and gains IMPACT the gameplay; whereas in a shooter you do not. Why are some of you giving him suggestions that are FPS instead of 3rd person? Did it come up on the title 1st instead of 3rd?
Anyways... What I would suggest is Full Spectrum Warrior. |
