Poor framerate in MOTOGP 2!

I have a p3 1 GHZ cpu
FIC FAT15 mobo
512 mb pc133 ram
2 40GHZ WD hard drives at 7200 rpm
Nvidia geforce3 64mb ddr
Soundblaster live gamer 5.1

The framerates are good as long as i dont do the big races where there are 20 bikes and then the framerate is very choppy! WHen i play the other parts of the game with not so much goin on it is just peachy! How do i increase my framerates?

I have tried running it in 16 bit mode but it seems to get worse. I have tried to turn down all of the graphics and nothing seems to help or makes the game crash. HEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLPPPP!!!

Do you have all the latest drivers? Chipset, video, audio?

Yep. tried uninstalling and reinstalling all updates and drivers. Even reinstalled windows. It only bogs down when you do the races with 20 bikes. It never bogs down when you do a solo practice or race 2 bikes.
