GF FX5200Go + FFXI?
Hey all, I am on a 64MB Geforce FX5200Go and I play Final Fantasy XI. Now, I set the res to 1024x1024 overlay and it runs fine into I run into big special effects which lag my lappy very much. So I turn it down to the next setting, which is 512x512, well my FPS is capped but the graphics are just horrible! Is there some way I can get maybe 800x800? Or just mess around with settings to get it to work with 1024x1024? Also, I tried to install the Omega drivers, and it didn't make one single noticeable difference except for the fact that it lagged graphics on web pages, made video quality worse and made the mouse laggy when clicking on applications. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I would think that the latest drivers from nVidia would be just fine. Don't see 1024x1024 too much but 800x600 resolution for your game should be playable. Check what video options you have turned on in your video/graphics menus'

The options were 256x256, 512x512 and 1024x1024 - I went into Registry Editor, and changed the values so I can "unlock" 768x768, thanks!

Just wondering ... do you have a square monitor? Otherwise I don't see the point of having 1024 x 1024 resolution (not ragging on you, but rather the developers of the game).
