The site says released Oct, yet the cover says Dec 04?? Any explanation??

Magazines always come out early than the date on the cover. Normally only the month ahead though.

Yeah, I've had the November PcGamer for awhile now.

Edit* Plus they send out a bonus holiday mag every december so PcGamer actually puts out 13 mags in a year.

I have to be perfectly honest and say the original Half Life put me off FPS games for years, absolutely nothing was as good after playing Half Life.

Now, finally the time is near. It's been a long wait but it's time to flex some FPS muscles again in preparation I think.

(COD came close though).

Release dates! from the above link. Pic's are there too.

The long, drawn-out Half-Life 2 release date saga appears to be drawing to a close at long last, with Vivendi-Universal Games' expected to formally announce a November 26th release date for Europe, with US gamers getting the game three days earlier on November 23rd.
