4,000? That seems high with your setup.

Edit* Actually, I've seen scores all over the map so 4,000 seems about right.

With my setup (Radeon 9800 Pro/Intel P4 2.8C), I for some reason get 998...there definately is something wrong...can't figure out what it is. Is this score way too low?

I'm not all too familiar with this kind of stuff, but what all effects the score? As far as the Graphhics card and CPU?

I believe the formula for every benchmark out there is:

Score = [(dollar value of graphics card) x 5] + (CPU speed in MHz)/2

Don't trust 'em!

P.S. I will post my score once I finish the download

EDIT: Scored 2403 with the desktop system in my signature.

Talking

I just received my 3DMark05 PRO CD in the mail and ran my first test. My score is 5,990! That's with my P4 3.0C overclocked to 3.5Ghz and my new X800XT overclocked to 550/1170.

Seems like there's something wrong with 3DMark2005...some bug. ATI Radeon 9800 Pros are not supposed to get sub 1000 score with adequate CPU speed and memory.
