xbox emulator

didn't know where to put this, but here goes. i have a xbox, but it quit on me! i need to service it, and tis gonna cost me 90 bucks. i know i can use a xbox emulator to do it. . . but don't know where to find it and how to use it. . . i treid xeon, or somthing like that, it didn't work, ot i did'nt install it properly. . . so how do i do this?

To do what, fix it? You don't use emulator's to fix broken systems. Emulators recreate the system on your computer, so you could play xbox games on your computer. I don't know about the legality of it all so I'll just shhhsh up right now.

no no, sorry, i meant i can play xbox games on pc. . .. oh well, thanks tho

If you already own the games, running them through an emulator isn't illegal... It only becomes illegal when you use an emulator to run games that you haven't purchased.

emulator

If so, where can i get an xbox emulator, hardware of software? I have an xbox and a whole bunch of games so it will be neat to try it out. Also, will my system support? (specs below) thanx for any answers.

Check out sourceforge.net they have an emulator for most anything... If that doesn't work, then google for it.

An (software) XBOX emulation program should be free. Personally, I have never heard of a hardware emulation system for computer, so I really couldn't tell you what such a thing would cost.

As has been stated in this thread before, it is legal provided that you own all of the games for which you are going to use the emulator to play.
