This is a really fun game. Mindless mayhem as you take on wave after wave of monsters in open arenas- and it only costs about $18. There may be up to 40 or monsters at a time. Looks good, sounds great. Best part is the cooperative multiplayer where you and others team up to destroy the baddies (there is also a deathmatch mode, but stick with UT or CS for that).
Anyone else playing this game? |

Not as of yet, but I've heard of it. Is there a website where I can check out some screenshots? Thanks!

Sure, check it out!
http://www.zdnet.com/gamespot/stories/reviews/0,10867,2701181,00.html Is a pretty decent game for the price, not like some that gouge ya for $50.00, and it's the same old, same old "cough" Q3 team arena "cough"

Yep, it's a pretty good game. First thing that came to mind when I started playing it was Doom meets Duke Nukem. Mostly just mindless shooting with the standard Pistol, Shotgun, Double Barrel, etc. array of weapons. Kind of fun to play a game and not have to worry about bomb sites and rescuing hostages.

The only negative I can think of is that it is fairly short. I went through the entire game on cooperative multiplayer (5 players) in a little more than 2 hours.
However, according to the Serious Sam website, their are several mods and new levels in progress. |
