heh funny thing about that we're trying to get a few guys to start playing in the ladder and get some wins, get some sort of reputation then recruit alot more people

I understand how that goes. Our clan =TAW= is well known on OGL and TWL for regular battlefield, but the new DC division which we are working on is not. We ran into the problem that since we did not have the reputation in the DC field that is needed, we are not receiving the amount of recruits we had hoped for. The solution is to get who you can on your team and then to begin playing in public servers often. Jump onto clan teamspeaks and make yourself known. If you play enough and you're good, people will begin to take notice of who you are despite the fact that your name might not be highly recognizable in clan competition. Once you're known the recruits will come willingly, and you'll have no problem entering competition play. I strongly advise this before running headstrong into TWL, OGL, CAL, and the like. It won't be pretty.
