BF1942 problem

Yesterday I was playing BF and it kept kicking me off, it just would quite. Today i got up and it wouldn't even start. I tried to reinstall but it would get to a point were it said it couldn't read disk. This happened when I first installed. I then tried to unistall and start over again. This is where i got scared. It said there is a file missing and it can't uninstall. i'm totally clueless now as what to do. Its my favorite game and DC final just came out and I really miss playing. Any help will be verp much appericiated.

Thanx,
Thomas

Alright, let me get this straight. You cannot install the game at all now? Try wiping out the entire battlefield folder by manually deleting it from the program files then attempt to reinstall it. If you do not find help here I recommend you posting it on www.desertcombat.com

I'll also pass your post along to my battlefield clan and see if they can help you out at all.

Here is the post.

Send a message via AIM to Alienware_Dude
You'll also need to clean the registry of any and all keys related to the game.

Yea go to C: dive and program files>EA (I think)>BF1942 and delete the 1942 folder and look and see if there is a folder elsewhere with savegames, they might be corrupted.
