doom 3 hell gaurdian
i am stuck in hell on dom 3 trying to kill that MASSIVE gaurdian! Any tips on how to kill it? I try shooting the little alien things which come looking for me, but i simply run out of ammo! Any ideas appreciated plse, as I have been stuck on this for 3 days now and i cant take much more!!!!!!

You have to kill the smaller demons to gain life force for the sould cube (5 per shot, I think it was). Just shoot the guardian multiple times with the soul cube while jumping around the map avoiding him and his ordinance.

Regular weapons are useless against the Cyberdemon. You can only kill it with about a 1/2 dozen shots of the Soul Cube, which can only be loaded as Force Flow mentions above. Note, however, that if *anything* gets in the way, the Soul Cube shot is wasted, meaning if you hit a smaller demon, or the Cyberdemon's shots, it's wasted and doesn't count.
Personally, I think all weapons should count, as in the original(s). It's a drag to have to slaughter a bunch of little demons to get just one lucky shot in on the big guy... |
