Question Final Fantasy Seven PC Version

I was searching on ebay and found final fantasy 7 for the pc. I didn't know there was a final fantasy 7 for the pc, or isn't there? Should i believe these auctions?

And if there is such a version would I be able to use it on the rig in my sig?

looks like there is a final fantasy 7 for pc. amazon has it for sale. they also list the system requirements as :
Pentium 166 (Recommended 3-D accelerator card)
3-D supported through Direct 3D
32 MB RAM
4x CD-ROM
DirectX 5.0 compatible sound and video card
(Recommended XG-MIDI compatible sound card)
so you shouldn't have a problem running it at all.

Yea i noticed that. I just wasn't sure if it would be compatible. Its an older game so i wasn't sure if it would run on a newer system

Thats an insane amount of money for it tho..I think i'm gonna just stick with my PSOne..lol

Squaresoft now SquareEnix released both FFVII & FFVIII for PC a few years ago. They haven't released any later ones until the online one that recently came out.

I have FF7 for the pc, its a great game. Squaresoft now squarenix has FF7, FF8, FF9(recently available) for the pc. Don't worry, if you have a RIVA TNT2, it is great, faster cards are ok, but there are few parts, where the game is too fast, like the motrocycle chase scene, the RTS minigame on a mountain, where you are guarding a pheonix bird. The faster parts I got when using a gf2ti.
It has the best story for the FF, and the materia system is so supperior, even FF10, is no match. This game stirred everyone's emotion on "how to save aerith", that you will see soon. As for sequal, there is none, despite hordes of fan demanding one, Square had other ideas, and came out with a movie "final fantasy 7 advent children", its the same with the game but with some extras. Release is fall/winter this year in Japan, then rest of the world Q1/2 05.

Does anyone know where i might be able to find this cheap for pc? I've been contemplating on getting it for psone but i looked at a couple reviews and they've all said that the graphics are much better on the pc compared to the psone graphics. I might just go for the psone version because it seems that it would cost me much less then the pc version. I have never played it before tho and I wanted to start playing it before halo2 and half life 2 came out. Once those come out i won't have much time for FF7 lol. Thanks for all the information everyone!
