call of duty problem
hi all, ive got a problem on call of duty multiplayer, when i update to the latest version (patch 1.4), whilst in gameplay , my whole system freezes after 5 mins !!! this happens constantly !! before the patch , no problems at
all !! play online for hours . garphics card is abit radeon 256mb 8x agp, asus board, and ati catalys 4.10 drivers !! anyone any ideas ?? i have no problems on any other game ! cheers

Have you made sure your chipset and all your other drivers are up to date? How about Direct X? If that fails, if you revert back to catalyst 4.9 does it solve the problem?

Do you need the 1.4 patch? Reinstall w/o it if you don't need it. If you do, try the above suggestion.

I always thought it best to have the latest drivers , and with the game , sometimes you cant play against other people if you are arnt as up to date as them ???
ill try the 4.9 drivers , first , then a process of elimination. just extremely long winded. oh well. cheers for the replies guys, it is appreciated |

i play cod online and i have been haveing problems too. i have tried everything under the moon to fix it. to me it seems to of started after the sp2 update, but i have reformated and tried all ways. with it in and without it in. have you tried different maps? some maps dont seem to give me as much problems as other maps. other people run just fine on my server. its really driving me nuts.
