The MOH: Pacific Assault multiplayer demo has been released. You can find it HERE. I have tried the demo and I must say I am thouroughly unimpressed and very dissapointed. The graphics offer no improvement what-so-ever over MOH:AA. In fact, it looks worse. The game play is simply uninspired. I played it for a grand total of 5 minutes. They game runs fine on my PC on high settings but what really disgusts me are the rediculously long loading times. It takes twice as long to load the MENU than it does to load the actual game. That is simply unecceptable. I really loved MOH: AA and this game is a huge disapointment. I was eagerly looking forward to the release of MOH: PA until I played the two demos. I doubt I will be purchasing it. EA really messed up on this one. Unless the retail proves to be much better I predict this will be a flop. I'm sticking with MOH:AA. I still play that game more than any other. Even COD.
There haven't been many games catching my attention lately. I have never played GTA or Half Life and I really don't know if I'll buy them. The only promising game that I think I will want is Halo 2. I played the Far Cry demo and other than the graphics, I wasn't impressed. The same goes for Doom III. So far I have been disapointed with the quality of games being released. I don't know how a company like EA can release a hit such as MOH: AA then not follow it up with worthy sequels. It can't be that difficult. Can it? Why not keep the same team instead of switching? I even read that the multiplayer and single player portions of MOH: PA were made by two different companies. Why on earth would they do that???

HERE are some screenshots comparing MOH:AA, COD, and MOH:PA. THere isn't much of a difference and I think COD looks best. However, MOH: AA still holds my interest and I still find it fun to play. I don't know what it is about that game but something keeps me coming back for more even after almost three years. I lost interest in COD multiplayer rather quickly. All of those screenshots were taken with the graphics as high as possible at 1024x768 resolution.
