3 Cheers for the Master Chief!!!!

Well... I played until 5:30 in the morning and the only reason I went to bed is because I had to work today (although we will be playing it at work too). Halo 2 is fantastic and packed with cool new features, weapons, vehicles, functions, etc... I won't go into detail, there's too much to list. I also picked myself up a Warthog toy that has a master chief and a marine in it (picture attached). It just felt right to buy it while I was waiting in line at the midnight madness sale at EB Games.

My brother and I are hoping to get a LAN party going with H2 soon, as we have done plenty of them with Halo 1. Once we have done one, I will post up some pictures of the event.

Post up pictures, experiences, whatever you want relating to Halo 2. I'd like to know how everyone liked their first experience and what everyone thinks.

If you don't have it yet, buy it! If you already have it, stop reading and PLAY IT!!!

i played for about an hour, not more because of school/work. It was very fun. I only stopped because my hand fell asleep and then went numb. Let me tell you, its very hard to play video games with a numb hand.

I'm loving this game. I just bought an xbox the other day specifically for this game. I couldn't wait to see if they would port to PC. The cutscenes are awesome.

Yep and dual weilding plasma rifles rock! Much better than the first halo i think. I like how most of the game takes place in like an urban setting with lots of buildings and such instead of the open fields of halo 1.

One word: friggin amazing. I went to the midnight release dealio at EB with my bro and a friend. We got it and then went home and play from 1 till 4 the next day. Multiplayer rules and so do dual SMGS. Lol. This game just blows away the first, not to say that the first wasn't amazing but what this one adds to it is just amazing. Haven't gotten thru Campaign mode yet. It's been pretty good so far tho, i liked it. Now i can't wait for Half-Life 2, 5 more days!! (at least i think so, someone correct me if i'm wrong)

Maybe I can begin a trend here...I;d like to meet up the some new peeps for games, so my Gamertag for Live is 'Zytz' just add me if you like, and say you're from PC mech in the little message that gets sent. Maybe if we get enough players from the forums together i'll start a clan for us.. and if you're good enough till then you'll find me shaking things up at the rumble pit- currently level 8 with a 60% 1st place percentage, nothin lower than 4th yet.... so bring it!

Has anyone noticed that when you are walking around with your sniper rifle, the scope screen actually shows a tiny picture of what's in front of you? I just noticed this yesterday and it's pretty impressive. Also, I love the tracing rocket launcher when firing at vehicles but not players without a vehicle. Very well thought out as it wouldn't be much fun if the rocket traced you as you were running past.

Unfortunately, I let my x-box live expire a while ago. I was tired of the cursing, trashtalking teenie-boppers who have no respect for the people who just want to play a game and have some fun (please pardon my venting). Now, my brother and I just have big LAN parties with crazy multiplayer mayhem if we want multiple players. It's too bad, because I really enjoyed x-box live when I first started it. I just have little to no tolerance for inconsiderate people... oh there I go again! Too bad you aren't close to me, you could come to the next LAN party!!!
