Copy all CD's to one DVD?

I have a game that has me switching back and forth between cds. Is it possible to copy all four or five CD's to a DVD and not have to keep shuffling back and forth with the compact discs?

I doubt it personally. I doubt the game would bother referencing the table of contents to see if the disk/data it was looking for would be living on the same medium, as usually in code it is expecting to be accessing another disk (unless it prompts you for a folder location). Would be interesting to trial but might be a write off of a perfectly good DVD! What game is it by the way?

Well...I'm a little embarassed to say but it is Riven...I just never got it finished somewhat because it gets a little frustrating popping the discs in and out but also because I was playing it with my daughter and she had her plans changed suddenly. She will be coming home from the air force soon and we have made plans to finally finish what we started two Christmases ago.

Hey if it is some fun interaction with your daughter I am not going to poke the finger!
Pity it doesn't give you the option to run it primarily from your hard drive but just have disk 1 as the launch disk. Weren't you given any options when you installed it? (I am tipping no, given the graphic nature of the game it should have done though!)

I don't recall seeing option to copy to HD but I like the way you're thinking. I may not even have it installed right now (she's been gone a long time), so I think I'll check that out again and also got to their website and see if there are some tips for downloading to HD. Good suggestion, thank you.

I've never tried but as long as the directory structure is the same on the DVD as in all the CD's, I would think it might work.
