Thumbs up Half Life 2 is Absolutely Incredible! Amazing! Wow!

I just picked up HL2 at CompUSA yesterday. I bought the special edition with HL1 and Counterstrike. All I can say is WOW! This game is amazing! The employees of Valve ought to be partying their butts off right now. Celebrating a major success and relaxing after all those months and months (and years?) of hard work. I've never seen a game like it. It totally destroys Doom3. I've been playing Doom3 for the past month or so and it's going to be collecting dust now that I have HL2. The graphics are unbelievable. The physics in the game are awesome. The action and gameplay are amazing. Half Life 2 really is a technological breakthrough in computer gaming and I am so excited about where games can go from here. After I had only about a half hour into the game I had to call up my friends to come over and see it. You've got to get this game. I'm addicted! Holy Cow!

Yep, it's been in production for about 5 years.

I think that extra time really paid off. The gameplay is fun and the graphics are just stunning. I've only played for about 2 hours and i like the story so far. It really is a great game, I love it. If Halo 2 would have taken that much time in production it could have been just as great. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. HL-2 will be amazing for years to come, IMO.

What amazed me was the water, and the body movement.
