I could only play Far Cry for short periods of time because I got major headaches.

That's weird. I've never had any problems like that.

Only happens on older games to me. Wolfenstein, Jedi Knight 1. Luckily it happens sparingly on Doom 1 but it happened to me playing HL1. I guess all Quake2 games are getting too old for me now.
I look forward to the day when Far Cry and HL2 have terrible graphics and make me sick too.

I just find it weird that it never happened to some people in the past, but now they play HL2 and have problems. Kinda weird.

I have heard of it, never happened to me. Same thing as air sickness or car sickness. I think it has something to do with color combos and movement, make sure you have good lighting and turn the contrast down a bit, see if that helps

I used to have that problem on an older computer where the video card wasn't up to snuff, but now with this computer I don't have any problems playing FPS games. I read somewhere this problem has to do with the frame rates of the video card, the slower it is the more nautious a person will fill. Ever so often now if I have a marathon session I start getting a little naustious, but I quit once I fee it comming on.
