depends on what genre of game you are into. if your into mmorpg's then you should try out World of Warcraft, comes out this tuesday, will be awesome. everquest 2 is out there now as well if that game looks good to you.

I've heard that it is boring. WoW looks fun tho, and with it being released here shortly, you can start from lvl 1 with everyone else and not be behind.

I played Everquest for two years, quit tho and that was over a year ago. "Evercrack" title is from how easy it is to forget about life and quit jobs / relationships / basicly just leave life and put all your time and energy into this game. There was a guy who killed himself over this game a few years ago, you can probly dig up the article with a fast google search.

This game is so addicting, but there are by far better games out there nowadays. If you have plenty of time to play some online games i suggest you try out World of Warcraft, or even EQ2 which i don't really recommend. I hear EQ2 is far from done and it is pretty much beta in a box iv been told. EQ2 was released i think Nov 9th, somewhere around there i believe. They only released it at that time to pull off some of the competition they have with World of Warcraft. Otherwise they shouldn't of released their game at least until 2005.

So if you like more of a real looking style game go for EQ2, WoW is very cartoony but a lot of people love that.

Personally im going for WoW, i put too much time into EQ1 to know never to go back, WoW is a very refreshing break.

So if you have lots of time to play these games go for these mmorpg's but beware, they possible might take over your life, these things get really addiciting. Online FPS games are always fun too.

EQ2 not done? Really it is amazing you say that but never played the game. EQ2 is complete I played the game for about a week so far and with my three toons level 10 summoner, level 14 warrior and a level 12 rogue I have completed over 200 quests and there many many more to be completed. The engine is solid not short of it, no game breaking bugs just minor ones I haven't experience any so far myself with a total hours played reaching 50+.

The game can only be described as amazing, the music is well done, the graphics are amazing even at lower settings. Also the voice over adds so much to the level of immerison that I forget that it is meerly just a game also Christopher Lee (voice of Sauron) does the voice of Lucan De'Lere the overlord of freeport and Heather Grahm (Hot Hot Hot) the voice of Antonia Bayle queen of qeynos.

Lag was a major problem in beta but they fixed that during the week before release. The only time I experienced any type of lag was due to me pushing my video card to extremes and not serverside lag.

IF you want any more info let me know
