AGP window size
I had run a testing tool(sandra or everest, dunno which) that wold me that my agp window size was of 256 MB, while my video card is of only 128 MB. Where can i change that? There is nothing in bios and apparently nothing in advanced configuration of desktop

Usually the AGP aperature is recommended at 128MB. I'm guessing you're running a laptop, you may have a stripped down BIOS and that feature might not be available to adjust.

Why change it? AGP Aperture should be double your video RAM. Setting is located in the BIOS.

So if u have a 128mb video card AGP Apperature Size should be 256mb? My understanding of AGP Aperature size is how much system memory the video card has access to. Am i understanding it wrong?

no, not really, in the older systems it was, but not in todays systems.
you will not see any differance if it 128 or 256, if you need more information about it webpiedia is a good place to start. |
