Half Life 2
I am thinking about getting Half Life 2. Just wondering - will my hardware still be sufficient or would it be a waste buying the game?
I got the following system specs. AMD XP 1800+ 1 GB DDR Ram Geforce 3 with 64 megs of RAM 80 GB IDE HD w. 8 megs Cache Dell LCD 17" Monitor What do you guys think? Sufficient enough or would it be a pain playing on this system Christoph |

Minimum System Configuration
* 1.2 GHz Processor * 256MB RAM * DirectX 7 capable graphics card * Windows 2000/XP/ME/98 * Mouse * Keyboard * Internet Connection Preferred System Configuration * 2.4 GHz Processor * 512MB RAM * DirectX 9 capable graphics card * Windows 2000/XP/ME/98 * Mouse * Keyboard * Internet Connection Your video card would have trouble running it, your CPU should be powerful enough but I dont know how well it would run it. Maybe on low settings it would work.

You have everything fine except the graphics card - you might consider a single upgrade on that so you can enjoy HL2. I would suggest any budget above 70 USD to upgrade to something sufficient.
