how many MB on the video card?

It seems to meet the minimum requirements.
But i suggest you get at least a 2.4GHTZ processor, and a 9600 pro 128mb or better video card to run on minimum settings with a decent FPS (Frames Per Second).

The biggest issue in gaming is Video Cards.
You can get a decent card for a good AU$140

I got:
3Ghtz P4
1gig ram
120 gig Hard Drive
8x DVD Burner......
256mb ATI RADEON 9600 pro

My computer would handle around medium settings on HL2, and run at a decent frame rate

id recommend an ATI card for HL2....since Geforce FX cards have issues when running DX9 codepath. on the other hand, geforce 6600/6800 series cards run the game excellent, its just the lackluster FX cards that have trouble.

Yes, it will run, but not well, and not all decked out.

You may consider an AMD Sempron 2200+ - it's around 50 USD or under and performs well enough for Half Life 2. You system currently will perform with HL2, but not all that well.
