Call of Duty Error
I have been playing through the COD single player in hard mode. I was stuck for so long on the Pavlov level with no health and got so frustrated that I ended up using cheats to get through it. I never do that. Anyway, I got through it, disabled the cheats, and saved it at the end right before going to the next level. Now it won't go to the next level.
When I click "Next Level" it starts loading and when the loading bar goes all the way up an error comes up and says the following: "Hunk_AllocateTempMemory: failed on 4194320, needs 1731952". Does anyone have any idea what that means? I really don't want to reinstall the game.

you could retry that mission and use a trainer as I had to use a trainer too for that level but on very hard mode

I got through the mission fine with god mode. The problem was that it autosaved while I was being blown up by a grenade so every time I loaded it I would blow up immediately. The last save was way back so I just cheated.
The error was coming up when I tried loading the next level. I got it working though. I stole the main files from the COD installation on my other PC and put them on this one. |

if that happens again go into your main cod file then your config file. look for the hunk line and change it to 255, should be at 128 now. you will need word pad to open up file.

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully I'll remember if it happens again.
